Announcements 2013-10-23: CoRD don't seem to work on 10.9 Mavericks. Check back next week. CoRD: Simple RDP Remote Desktop Macs interact well with Windows, and with CoRD the experience is a bit smoother. Great for working on the office terminal server, administrating servers or any other time you'd like your PC to be a bit closer without leaving your Mac.
CoRD allows you to view each session in its own window, or save space with all sessions in one window. Scale session windows to whatever size fits you—the screen is resized automatically. Enter full screen mode and feel like you're actually at the computer. The clipboard is automatically synchronized between CoRD and the server. For system administrators, CoRD creates a simpler workflow by allowing you to save server information, then quickly connect to that server by using HotKeys or the server drawer. This makes quickly connecting to a specific server easy, even when managing many servers.
For the past few decades, Apple and I have created a time honored give and take relationship. I give Apple money. Apple gives me techno gadgets I like to use. I’ve owned more than my fair share of Apple products in the past 30 years or so.

Where do you go to find out all you need to know about every Mac, iPhone, iPad, and nearly every Apple accessory ever made? Or, pretty much everything else Apple has ever manufactured? All that information comes in a free database application, for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Apple Tracker Available in the Mac App Store or the iTunes App Store for iOS devices is the free application known as, which dates back to the days when Apple and the Mac were one and the same. Apple was the Mac. The Mac was Apple. Through the years Mactracker has proven indispensable for Apple folk, Apple watchers, and history buffs because it offers detailed information on every Mac ever made, and so far as I can tell, every Apple product I’ve owned.

What kind of information? More than you need to know, but all the details from CPUs, RAM, disk and optical drives, graphics cards and capability, expansion options, and all the supported OS versions, from Mac Classic to all versions of macOS, including macOS High Sierra. Mactracker is probably the wrong name for what you get for free because it displays database details for nearly every Apple product ever.
Also included are details on nearly everything else Apple made or makes. That includes mouse, keyboard, displays, printers, scanners, speakers, cameras, the Newton, as well as modern day products like all the iPod models, the Apple TV models, all iPhones, all iPads, Airport and more. Everything is accessible through a sidebar menu or the built-in search on the Mac. There is absolutely nothing to not like about using Mactracker. There’s no faster, easier way to find out more about the Mac you own, the Mac you want to buy, used Macs, or Macs you once owned, but Mactracker covers all the various Apple-branded products from Newton to iPod, from iPhone to iPad. Mactracker comes with options to monitor and manage device warranties, and easily creates Smart Categories to keep all your personal Apple product information easily accessible; for example, all models with an Intel Inside processor. You can also search products by year.
If you’re interested in Apple’s products– from the beginning to today– Mactracker is the only place to find all of what you need to know. You don’t really want to know. Honestly, though, the name Mactracker doesn’t work anymore because the Mac makes up barely 10-percent of Apple’s business.
So, what name should Mactracker use instead? AppleTracker, of course.
